The Dreaded Blank Screen

Gasp, that's what I found when I clicked on my blog today!

I've just returned from Mexico, and it was a bit of an adventure on several levels. I'll post a run-down with photos in the next few days.

On another note, the Rocky Raccoon 100 is rapidly approaching, and right now is key training time. My training volume is pretty high. I was moderately afraid of not getting in these important workouts due to all of the details that come along with international travel to an exotic locale. However, I'm elated to report that I did every single scheduled workout! This is something to celebrate!

More coming soon! Happy continued holidaying to all of you!

my friend and training partner won the coon years back. maybe this will be your year??? you are such a solid runner i am sure you will be in the mix. is your "sweetie" running it??? and by the way, what is his name??? Meghan, you can email me off list, mbtriley2002@yahoo.com i can fill you in on my unorthodox training that i do. it is pretty strang. i'll let you know about some races that i hope to do too also.

i was thinking today about how many creatures i saw this year in races. then i thought about where you live and how many wonderful animals you see almost on a daily basis. you are truely lucky, as long as they keep their distance mind you, you just live in the most awesome part of he country.

looking forward to hearing from you.

Your page wasn't blank for more than a day or so.
Good to see you're back! (Now I can stop being jealous.)
Wow, no missed workouts. That's great. Hope you have a nice collection of little umbrellas, though.
If Tom doesn't mind, forward his "unorthodox training" to me too.

This is a blog nightmare! Are you able to just reset to the default page and start over completely? I feel somehow responsible, though I didn't tell you to do anything that didn't seem to work fine on mine. How weird!

Glad you had fun in old Mexico..I spent the week horribly sick in bed so I'm very, very jealous!

I'm impressed with your ability to get workouts--and long workouts, at that--done in an "exotic locale," having myself just wimped out of three short workouts in Vermont while visitIng friends: "There isn't enough shoulder on the road with the snow." "If I run close enough to the shoulder to be safe, it's icy." "If I run more in the road, it's unsafe." (On a road with good visibility that two cars an hour go by on?) "The road to get to the running road is scary to drive." "I'll do an equivalent workout on snowshoes." (Oh, sure.) "I sort of have a cold." Etc.

Happy New Year. Can't wait to hear more about Mexico.

Happy New Year, all!

Tom- Yes, the RR100 will be my first 100. *Gulp.* Seriously, I'm SO EXCITED! Thanks for the good wishes.

JeffO- Call me lame but I didn't drink a single fru-fru tropical drink in Mexico! But, don't get me started on trying to count the number of glasses of wine I drank in a week. Enough to hydrate a small country, I'm sure. ;)

Chelle- Don't worry, it isn't at all your fault about my blog. And, I'm so sorry to hear that you have been sick!

Roslyn- A large part of my motivation was the the weather was fabulous in Mexico! Coming from the cold country, it was akin to heaven running around in the heat.
