Weekend Update!
My weekend is pretty full because I am working on my National Board Portfolio, lots of writing, in addition to my regular weekend chores, laundry, grading papers, and planning for the week. I have been able to get some runs in but I have felt distracted while running because of the pile of work that is waiting for me.
Yesterday I worked at school all day and then met Mark at the gym. We have had snow all weekend long. Neither of us wanted to run through the snow and tire ourselves out so we did a treadmill run. I ran 7 miles on the treadmill between 7:30 and 6:47 pace and felt better than I expected after working all day. After the run I lifted for a half hour and did a little bit of stretching.
This morning we went to Richmond for a group run but only one person showed up. I was disappointed. Mark ran with the other runner and I went out on my own. It was snowing and very cold. I ran 17 miles, out and back into Huntington on some really pretty roads. The roads in sections were very slippery. I took a huge fall going down a hill and landed right on my behind. I was glad to have landed there because it was a quick and fast and hard fall. I was hoping to run 20 miles but due to the cold weather and slippery conditions I thought 17 was a good compromise. Now I have to get to work.

You are one busy girl. I can't believe how much work you have from work all the time. I hope the snow has cleared up some and you are able to have a more relaxing weekend.
