Winter Storm
It has been snowing all day today. Despite the constant flow of snow we have not accumulated that much total snow fall. We probably have about 4-6 inches. Right now there are small snow pellets falling. We had meetings all day at school and I was able to walk to work so it was not a difficult commute at all.
I had two snowy slow runs today and took it as my easy day. It was in the low 30's to high 20's when I ran so it was relatively mild. The first run was five miles with my friend Jen. We ran on the roads and they were quite slippery and it was not fun to run by the cars. The second run was much more pleasant. I ran three miles on the golf course with Seb through the snow and did not have to worry about cars or slippery roads. I really enjoyed this run. I feel tired, I think from a cold that I may be fighting off, but my legs don't really feel as bad as I expected. I'll take one more easy day tomorrow and then do a workout on Wednesday. We are expected to get more snow until 7 a.m. tomorrow morning.
