Long Run in Flurries Again

Unfortunately this is going to be a quick entry again. I am on my way to a conference for track and field and have to take a shower. Yesterday I wanted to do hill repeats but my schedule quickly became filled in the afternoon. I only had time for a four mile run. I felt good and ran at a good pace.

This morning I got up early and ran a new course for my long run. I ran 22 miles and it was cold. I felt a bit chilly the entire run. I dropped my water bottle on the side of the road half way through the run because it was making my hands too cold. The new course was 13 miles through North Hyde Park, I added extra miles on whenever I could down side roads and interesting paths. I felt good at two hours and forty minutes and decided to go for three hours and ran for two hours and fifty six minutes. My legs did not cramp up until just at the end and I think that was due to the pavement running that I did. A lot of the dirt roads are icey right now so I wanted to stick to roads for better stability. Tomorrow I would like to run 10-15 miles to make it an 80-85 miles week. And Sunday I'll do another long run in Burlington, well relatively long, 10-15 miles.
