Flurries Continue
After school I ran five miles with one of the students on the team. We ran at a good pace and I was glad for the company. I felt pretty good. In the evening we had to go to the winter sports banquet. It did not last as long as I thought which was nice. I then vegged and watched the Princess Bride. It was nice to watch it but I felt guilty the entire time because I felt like I should be doing work. I went to bed right afterwards but am having a productive morning today. I also botched up some chicken soup pretty badly last night and the soup is basically useless. Usually Mark makes the soup but I thought I would try it. Next time I'll leave it to him.
This morning I woke up to flurries again and the ground had another inch or two of snow. I was not motivated to go out with my hat and gloves on but I did. I told myself I'd only run three but ended up running four with my morning companion, Seb, our dog. When I finished I shoveled the driveway. It's satisfying to do that especially when the snow is super light! Tonight I have some hill repeats planned and would like to run at least 8 miles total.

Great, now I feel guilty for not going out this morning when it's sunny and 50. I guess I better go get dressed and relieve some of my guilt.
