peep!

I survived another 140-day session of the Texas Legislature. My body is a mess. My brain is a mess. Time to straighten both of them out.

My start: Andy and I went out last night. I had that Presidente margarita I'd held off on since probably summer of '04 when I started my heavy-duty marathon training, which was followed by session, which was followed by pregnancy, which was followed by nursing, which was followed by session.

This morning I ran 20 minutes. Then I had a massage. (I went to the chain place down the street, which is fine, except when the restaurant next door started up the potato-chopping machine, which sounded like a herd of elephants charging the wall. It went on for probably half of my massage.) Then I did a little yoga tonight. And then a short blog entry!

Baby steps.
