Relay Day
Franklin Elementary - Bridle Trails State Park - Today we ran for a 10 minute warm-up by running down to the lower corral. When we arrived, Coach Jacobs split us up into two teams. The teams ran a continuous relay for approximately 5 miles. Team Speed finished about 30 seconds ahead of team Twigs, both teams were under 21 minutes. Our cool-down was a slow 8 minute jog back to the elementary school.
Tim also brought flyers for the 5K race coming up this weekend at Bridle Trails State park. The money raised goes to help support the park that we use for free. Please check out the link below for more information.
