Racing slowly
I couldn't find my race results for 2003 to see what I ran on this course 2 years ago, but somehow I think it was like 16:30. Anyway, I felt decent today. I need to get back up over 50 per week though, this 40 mpw stuff is pretty lame.
Sat: 9.5 miles, lots of cheering, 5 miles warm-up. 5K in 16:44 at Sammamish Park
Fri: 0 miles
Thurs: 8 miles, Juanita/Kirkland
Wed: 6 miles, 400(80), 5x1000(3:19,3:18,3:18,3:13,3:05), 400(68)
Tues: 8 miles, Juanita/Kirkland
Mon: 0 miles

Hey James --
Here's my schedule for this week:
Tuesday: 12 x 400m
Thursday: 4-5 x mile on dirt or grass
Saturday: some sort of hill workout
Other days: easy (usually 5 miles, but could be longer)
Let me know if any of that interests you. I suspect I'm currently in somewhat better shape than you (25:34 for 8K two weekends ago), but if you want to join in on the fast stuff, no problem.

I think we can all agree that 25:34 would be a good 7K time for me right now. I'll have to opt for the about 5 mile option. I'm doing speed with the Eastside on Wednesday, so probably on Friday.
