Wednesday Track

Today I made it back to the track for the second week in a row! That makes 3 speed workouts in 8 days. My mileage has dropped quite a bit in the last few weeks, but at least I've picked up some speed workouts. I wish I could do both, but I just haven't got this working 60 hours per week and running thing down yet. I know it can be done 'cause I have done it before. I just need to stop watching shows like "Lost" that burn two hours of my evening away.

Balancing act

Running, working, trying to put together social outings. The triple crown still eludes me here in Kirkland, but I'm trying to get rid of some of my down time. Less price is right watching and more paper grading and running is the theme for this week.

Racing slowly

I couldn't find my race results for 2003 to see what I ran on this course 2 years ago, but somehow I think it was like 16:30. Anyway, I felt decent today. I need to get back up over 50 per week though, this 40 mpw stuff is pretty lame.

Yeah, after all this slacking I have my first race in like 8 weeks this weekend. Luckily, it is a fairly small obscure, never going to see the light of day results, type of race.

A better week?


Well last week's running was less than stellar. Hopefully this week will be better. On a good note, I'm starting to make head way on my unpacking project. I've already folded up and sent out to the recycling over 20 boxes! I still have to find a couch, but that's going to have to wait until the weekend.
