Warming UP
The temperature for Sunday is looking pretty good right now. I've been a little afraid that it was going to be too hot. Weather at race time (9 AM) is predicted to be 50 and party cloudy. Spokane warms up pretty quickly though so it'll likely be 60 by 9:40 AM.
My goal is still sub-41 despite not having done much speed work the past month. I'm just hoping to reap some benefit from my winter training. Just in case, I know where there is a beer stop at 5.2 miles should I fall too far off the pace.
James' Running week 1 of 1: 25 of about 25 miles

Thurs: 0 miles

Good luck, I hope it goes well. Just imagine your 17-year-old self up ahead and try to run him down. I actually did that once when I was trying to beat a time from high school...it worked. (Either that or I tell myself, "That guy in front of you is going to break X minutes and you're not, unless you catch him.)
So anyway, have fun out there!
