Running and working too much

I really need to motivate. Its been harder than it should be to get out the door lately. Partially because I'm working like 12 hours per day but also because I spend two hours of that day coaching cross country and it seems like I should already be done running. The team is done so I feel like I should be done too. Tomorrow I'm going to start morning runs b/c that seems like the only solution.

I was mentally prepared to be working like 3-4 hours per day this fall. Then all of a sudden I'm teaching full time again and hardly have time to think b/c I didn't do any prep work over the summer. After I finish the syllabus for my conceptual physics class I'll be more or less on track and should be down to like 10 hours a day of work.

Running:
Thurs. 9/9 3 miles easy
Wed. 9/8 Meadow OnB and River Run - 5 miles
Tues. 9/7 FTB - 3 miles Hard
Mon. 9/6 - AM Labor Day Fun Run 5K - 16:21 (4th place)
PM1 - 4 miles easy, PM2 - 4 miles easy --- 15.5 mile day

A 16:21 5K off not that much training? You must be well-rested. Just think what you could do with some real training! Morning runs are definitely the way to go.

Thanks Alison! A pretty fast course though (maybe too fast).
