Progress

Finally! A decent workout on the track at last. I was starting to get worried that I have been going to the track for 4 weeks now and felt like freshman in high school who has never run a bank before. It all ended tonight. Felt smooth, fast, and controlled. Managed to focus for the entire workout as well which has been an issue for me lately.

The last set was a mess on the track. I would say the effort was constant through out and those extra seconds were certainly due to crowd management rather than slowing down. Almost killed a girl who stopped dead in lane one at the 100 meter mark, heard us coming and jumped into lane 2 just after we moved into lane 2. Luckily we all olay'd succesfully but it was not ideal. Nothing worse than hurting someone or getting hurt on something so stupid. More people than I ever recall being on the track with half of the groups running in lanes 1 and 2 with no thought of running single file. Twice had to run all the way into lane 4 just to get around the groups of casual runners. Very frustrating.

That's all I got.
