Best Of Both Worlds

2005 Drinks to date:..149.....Miles: 324

After drinking coffee pretty much continuously from 3AM on this morning, I arrived home wide awake. Seeing as the sun was starting to come out and the rain had stopped, I had no excuse not to bop out to the park for a run. After two days off from the routine I felt so light and bouncy, I floated right through an easy seven miles. It was still pretty cool out and I didn't get too sweaty, so I managed to salvage my sleek, straight hairdo for one more day. No, I didn't wash it after my run; apparently my scalp doesn't sweat. After that I took my nap, had lunch with my friend Kevin who just got back from spending the winter with Maoist rebels in Burma Nepal and am now two hours from getting to leave work again.

It's been more than six months now since I've gotten to do a long run up at the Rockefeller State Park Preserve with my team and I'm very psyched to be getting back up there tomorrow. My plan has been to do the double ridge run, which is just under 22 miles.
However, I'm going to try and meet up with a friend in Atlantic City later that afternoon, so I might have to reevaluate and just do one ridge and a pond loop which will still net me 18 miles for the day.
