NYC Marathon: The Easy Way

One of us is stress fractured and the other has developed a deep-seated aversion to the sport of running, so instead of marathoning, we drank mimosas and heckled the sweaty fools.
Kudos to Paula for gutting it out and winning the sprint to the finish by only a four second margin. It was kind of nice to see the girl find redemption in New York after watching her heart break (twice!) in Athens. It's too bad Deena had to drop out, but usually the professionals make it look so easy. I appreciate both of these women for their talent, but it's also kind of reassuring to see that the sport takes as much out of them as it does us mere mortals.
