What's up with this weather?
Not that there is much complaining, other than about it being wet. Today was yet another unseasonably warm day here in the mid-Atlantic. They are actually calling for highs in the mid-60s later on this week. Of course, my internal temperature registers anything under about 65 as being cold! My big fear right now is that in two weeks it is going to be seasonable and I will be freezing.
Tonight's workout was the same as last Monday night. We did our 2.5 mile warm-up and then headed over to do our loop. We threw in about 8 or 9 surges of varying length. I think that we did our surges in the same places as last week, mainly because they made sense and were familiar. We did the 4.3 mile course in 27:42, so we were moving at a pretty good clip. R was able to stay with us better since we were more conservative early on this week. We waited for M some on the last stretch where it is pretty dark and spooky at night. After the stragglers came in we turned around and did the warm down loop, a total of about 9 miles for the evening.
That spot on my right foot is still sore. I think that it may be correlated with the numbness I was having earlier last week in my big toe. Right now I have a package of frozen peas on it. Speaking of veggies: squash, zucchini, tomatoes, and corn (not really a veggies, but some people throw it in there).
I need to finish my Internet stuff so that I can watch The Bachelorette tonight to see Josh Cox on it. Eleven o'clock is way past my bedtime, so I probably only see the early part of the show.
