To North Carolina We Go!
Well it's off to Charlotte, NC today and I'm very excited! I think one of my favorite things about triathlon and racing is getting to go to new and different places and the trips that O and I get to take together. Sometimes stressful but ALWAYS fun. How can you not love a road trip?
But of course you might be wondering..."Beth, did you pack yet?" To which I'd reply:
OF COURSE NOT!
And I have to leave to drop Roxy off (she is going to O's parents' house for the weekend) in about an hour. But yet I still take the time to blog. Because blogging is the ultimate packing procrastination! AHHH!!!
Regardless I am really looking forward to this weekend and to racing hard again! It's been far too long. :) And I couldn't have picked a better weekend because it is raining cats and dogs here in Pittsburgh and is supposed to continue this trend all day tomorrow. The Charlottle forecast, however, calls for sun on Sunday and a high of...94 degrees! Ouch! But at least I won't have to worry about brain freeze!
More stories to come I'm sure. Have a great weekend everyone!

GO BETH GO... nothing like "wanting to race"... that's a good sign leading into the weekend!
Have so much fun, and I feel like you, I still have not packed and my plane leaves first thing in the morning... ha ha, I read your blog to much and your back packing habits are rubbing off on me!

Good luck! Have fun in NC. Kick some butt down there in carolina! Remember how awesome you did at NYC when it was super hot and humid? You can handle that heat and humidity no problem.

To anyone and everyone who can spare a moment:
I'm seriously thinking of moving to a warmer climate, but with some change of seasons. I am interested in North Carolina. I visited Cary, North Carolina and liked it a lot; however, I'm interested in finding more information about Charlotte, North Carolina. I love the fine arts . . . plays, ballet, symphony, museums, cultural and fun activities for family, children and adults. I love the coffee shops, movies, Barnes & Noble, etc. I also love biking, hiking and swimming. Indoor and outdoor water parks are fun. Christian activities are very important to me also. I'm looking to live around some good, positive people! Excellent ratings on schools (all levels) are very important to me. I have a 5 year old daughter, and I also am returning to college. Also, safe, progressive neighborhoods are very important to me. So, to sum it all up . . . a mild climate, excellent education, a good church, safe neighborhoods, and fun indoor and outdoor activities would almost be paradise for me! Can anyone give me any information . . . even if it is outside of North Carolina?
Please e-mail me at skshealynn8@gmail.com
Thanks,
Shea
