Where Does the Weekend Go?
Chad just asked this question on his blog and I have to say - I WANT TO KNOW THE ANSWER MYSELF! Pretty much every Sunday night I sit around wondering where Friday night, Saturday and Sunday went and how in the world Monday is right around the corner! But such is life. And I have to say, many of my weeks go just as fast as the weekends so I can't complain!
Anyway, today was another day of rest and relaxation - long run, church, lunch, newspaper, watch the Olympics, nap, some odds and ends around the house and then around 6:00 pm I still had my ride to do. So I formed a little plan in my head - maybe I could do my ride and finish at the Dairy Queen where O and Roxy could meet me. Now THAT is my kind of ride! O was game so off I set with thoughts of ice cream dancing in my head. I had a great ride. It was beautiful out tonight. And of course my post training nutrition was superb! Roxy thought the same!

Have a great week everyone!

ha ha ha, talk about an AWESOME ending to a bike ride. What the heck time does it get dark there, we could never start a ride at 6pm unless it was only a `15 minute ride! Sunset at 6:30ish!!

Roxy has a good life! Meet your spouse for food and drinks afterwards is the best kind of ride motivation. Keep the weather nice...Andrew is headed to Pittsburgh and Farmington this week.

Beth,
I'm just catching up on your blog, and I read the whole thing but had to comment on this entry because of the supercute photo of Roxy indulging. She does look like she's in heaven! Ohmygosh sooooooo adorable. ;)
Yeah, and the other thing I have to comment on is the whole Michael Phelps eating thing? Why such the public banter about this? What a funny thing for us to become intrigued over!
Hope your training continues to go well,
Meghan
