Dog in the Bathtub
First of all, is bathtub one word or two? I've looked at it both ways and I can't decide. And I'm too lazy to look it up. Just like today at work when I couldn't decide if the back of your foot is a heal or a heel. I see it misspelled so often at work I actually forgot how to spell it myself! And I can't ever spell protein either. The "e" and the "i" get me confused at the end. I'm not sure why I'm admitted this to you all. My mom might be appalled! I would blame my spelling misadventures on my lack of reading (I honestly couldn't tell you the last book I read) but I don't think that's necessarily it. I base this theory on Marit. She can't spell either and she reads a lot! :) (just kidding Marit!!)
ANYWAY, back to the bathtub (or is it bath tub?). Recently Roxy has taken to hanging out in our bathtub. It's really strange. In the past she would occasionally take cover in the bathroom if it was lightening and thundering or during July 4th fireworks. But now she seems to be hanging out in there all the time! Like this morning when I got back from the pool and wanted to take a shower. There was a dog in the way. Or again after my bike workout this evening. Again, a dog in the way.
I guess I can see her point. It's definitely the coolest place in the house (other than the freezer) but today has been quite cool outside (never got above 70) and so I'm not sure that she would be seeking relief from the heat on a day like this!
Who knows. One thing for sure is, she is one weird dog! :)

That's a really cute picture! Dogs are the best source of entertainment out there.
Frito used to like going into the bathtub whe he was scared from loud noises, like thunder, but never just for the heck of it. Now when there is thunder he likes to hang out in the dryer. Pretty much whenever I open up the dryer, he thinks it is time to get in and hang out. We found out he liked it in there because I was emptying it out and he squeezed passed me and climbed in. We know it is going to thunder when ever he paws open the door to the laundry. Here's a picture of crazy Frito chillin' in the dryer during a thunderstorm:

Oh lookit little Roxy! So very cute!
My dog gets in the bathtub, too, but only during select times of thunderstorms and such.
Silly Roxy!

LOL at Roxy.. what a quirky one she is. But so cute!
I stink at protein/protien as well. I blame it on the fact that I only read People, but Marit might prove that theory wrong!

:) I had to laugh when I saw the picture. The House Monster does the exact same thing! She loves hanging out in the bathtub. One word, not two. Not that I looked it up... I'm just off my gut instinct. At least I think. And - no offense on the spelling stuff. I freely admit that I have my own "special" way of spelling. It's called Creative Spelling. And I like it the way it is. :)
Welcome home from camp! Sounds like you had a blast!

It almost looks like Roxy's doing a commercial for our shampoo products. Silly dog!
Also, the picture of Maija's dog Frito in the drier is hilarious!!!

I love the Roxy pics! Molly likes the bathroom too, but only b/c she feels like if there is ever a door closed and she is on the other side, she is missing out. If I ever wonder where my family is around the house, all I need to do is go into the bathroom and close the door--pretty soon I hear a manly knock, a girly knock, and the sound of a dog panting!
