Spring WILL Come (eventually)
I definitely wasn't pleased when my alarm went off this morning at 6 am for our run and of course it felt like I got one less hour of sleep (I did) and it was VERY dark and VERY cold and VERY windy. But it was all made worth it when, at 7:30 pm it was still light outside. YIPPEEEE!!! And if I remember correctly the darkness in the morning doesn't last very long before it's really pretty light pretty early too. Spring is but 11 days away!
Anyway, we did get that run in and while the wind literally chilled my bones, it was still a good run. I just kept trying to imagine us doing the very same thing in 2 months time, likely on the trail instead of the roads (hopefully the snow will be gone by then!) and in shorts and t-shirts instead of fleeces, tights, gloves, hats, and many, many other layers.
The rest of the day was spent doing the usual Sunday things - church, cleaning up the house, riding my bike, and of course taking a nap! We also finalized all our travel plans with my parents for St. Anthony's which is amazingly only 7 weeks away! Both of my parents are able to come (and of course O too!) and for that I'm really excited! They came to Clearwater last year too - I think they may just like the area but they appear to be interested in my race as well. :) They were happy to find out that this race was only 2 hours instead of 5 hours like last time.
And that's my story for today! I can't believe another week is upon us already. Hope everyone has a great one!

GASP! You're right - St. Anthony's is only 7 weeks away. Holy Cow!!!
Yes - the weather up where you are will only get better and better. And then all those idiots living in the South (yours truly) will be running inside on the tready, as the outside temp will be 98 with 90 % humidity. Good times.
Hang in there... 10 days until Spring. But who's counting...? :)

I am SOOOO excited for St. Anthony's!! It's my first time racing it, and just about ALL of my blogger friends are going to be there! My family is coming to, so it's going to be a blast!! Can't wait to meet you!
