Whoo-Hoo!
VERY pleased and honored to accept a sponsorship from PowerBar today! Now that deserves a BIG WHOO-HOO! Why you might ask? Well for one, I eat a lot of PowerBars. Like A LOT of them. And I have for a really long time. And I actually like them. Not like I just choke them down because they are good for me (like broccoli)!
I also use PowerGels during training/racing. And then there is the little fact that I'm addicted to PowerBar Nut Naturals. And the recovery bars are really good too. They come in flavors like cookies and cream caramel crisp (that's all one flavor). Seriously! What I'll be interested to try is the PowerBar recovery drink.
Anyway, that was definitely my excitement for the day. THANK YOU PowerBar!
As for my cold, it's getting better. Or at least not worse. It helps that I slept 9.5 hours last night and that I only had a short, easy run and some lifting to do today. And I watched 3 episodes of Grey's Anatomy. I'm officially addicted to that show!

Congrats on your sponsorship! I had one of their recovery bars last week for the first time--I was swimming with a friend who is a PB athlete and my blood sugar was low...and, of course, she had a swimbag full of PB treats. It was yummy!
So, the next best thing to being sponsored by Powerbar? Swimming in the lane next to a Powerbar Girl!!!!

YAY! Beth that is so cool! Congrats to you and you deserve it... NOW fun stuff, I too got my letter from Power Bar yesterday! Are you on Team Elite?? Oh man this is cool- we are team mates this year! YAYA! Now we need a photo together! BUT, I haven't signed yet until I make sure it won't clash with one of my supporters.... I hope it works out so I can be your teammate!
