Sunday Night Already?

I'm always quite surprised when about this time (8 or 9 pm) rolls around every Sunday evening. I mean WHERE does the weekend go? Much faster than 2 weekdays that's for sure. But of course I can't complain because I actually have tomorrow off work. O used to have tomorrow off too but now doesn't because they had a snow day last week. Oh well. I guess I'll have to do all the relaxing by myself tomorrow. :)

Today was a great day. We started things off with a long run wherein I decided to wear shorts. It was 38 degrees which is positively HOT at this time of year so I knew I would be warm in tights. The only confounding factor was the fact that it was probably going to start raining some time during the run and rain makes everything colder. To wear shorts or not? I went with it because who knows when I'll get to wear shorts again! And it did start to rain about an hour into the run but we didn't get too cold.

Next up church and then to O's parents house to celebrate about 10,000 birthdays. Okay, maybe only 6 but still, that seemed like a lot. O's family is BIG and they celebrate everyone's birthday. As you might imagine that leads to a lot of get togethers which is fun although at times a bit overwhelming. They do combine a lot of birthdays (like today for example) but still. I don't know too many families that still get together for EVERYONE'S birthdays - grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandchildren, 2nd cousins. I kid you not. It does help that they all live very close to each other. ANYWAY, my no chocolate eating for Lent was put to the test as there were MANY excellent chocolate dessert choices. How sad. I was saved with some apple cobbler though. Whew - that was a close call!

When we finally got back home it was nearly 5 pm and I didn't want to get on my bike at all. So I laid on the floor and stared up at the ceiling for a bit and then was attacked by Roxy (attacked with licks of course) and finally after a while I got up and got moving.

And that leads us to now. Fed, showered, stretched (and we even cleaned the house too!) and ready to start all over again tomorrow. :)

I do have my exciting tri-bloggers swim challenge workout to look forward to tomorrow though! 40x100 which would be the most 100s I've ever done for sure. My biggest concern will be keeping count of all that.

Hope everyone has a great start to their week!

I have a hard enough time keeping count on 4 X 100 ,let alone 40 X 100! You had BETTER let me know how its done, as I've got my swim challenge coming up in a few days. By the time you read this, you'll be over and done - and I'm sure it'll have been a big success! Nice job!!!!
