Explosion!
I think I almost just exploded my head on the trainer. Or at least I was close. Or maybe it was my heart that was going to explode. Or maybe my legs. Point being, I was *REALLY* working hard. :)
Started the morning off with a 3K swim. Felt okay, just a little stiff from yesterday's massage. Yes, I know that sounds a little strange - to feel stiff from a massage. But if you knew how much Lucy beats me up when she gives a massage, well than you would understand. My legs take it pretty well but my shoulders and back - wow. All for the greater good of course. :)
Then this trainer workout when I got home from work:
15 min wu, 4x15 sec w/10 sec rest, 2 min easy, 1x15 min TT, 5 min easy, 5 min TT, 2 min easy, 10x30 sec w/15 sec rest, 15 min cd
Going back through my log book, I've never done a trainer workout harder or faster. I was working it. But I felt very good to push very hard. As worried as I might be about my running for my upcoming race, I feel good about swimming and cycling. I guess you can't always have it all. :)
And now off to the pool for the final workout of the day - a pool run. Tomorrow I'm going to try some more "real" running. We shall see how it goes!
