Light Training
The past couple days have just been some light training to recover from Sunday's race. Monday was an easy 500 yd swim (all of about 8 minutes in the pool :). And this morning was a light 30 minute spin on the trainer and a 15 minute jog. I'm feeling recovered. :)
Tomorrow it's back to business. 4500 yds in the pool in the morning and then a light run in the afternoon. Thursday brings a track session and a moderate ride. Friday a hard day in the pool. Saturday a long ride/run brick and more pool... You get the idea.
In the mean time I've been doing some research on nausea and open water swimming. Until proven wrong I'm going with my theory that my nausea is related to a sea-sickness of sorts. Per a suggestion of my buddy I'm going to try some tincture of ginger and also the ear plugs (per my coach's suggestion). Of course I'll be experimenting with all this PRIOR to my next race day. :)
Alas - I think Roxy has stolen my sock AGAIN and I must track her down before it's trashed! Good night all!
