The Hour by Hour

6:40 am - alarm clock goes off

7:25 am - start running at the trail with Roxy and O. Only 1:20 today as my long run takes a dip after reaching a high of 2 hours last week. I run a 7:42 mile in the midst of the 10 mile run, my fastest mile with my HR under 153 since starting my new program. Progress makes me smile.

10:35 am - leave for church

12:30 am - return home from church, read newspaper and eat lunch

1:30 pm - nap-time

3:00 pm - slip into the pool for 3000 yds. I felt good in the water today.
wu: 300 easy, 6x50 w/20 sec rest
ms: 2x300 pull w/30 sec rest (4:49, 4:44), 6x100 w/15 sec rest (1:19, 1:19, 1:19, 1:18, 1:18, 1:18), 18x50 w/20 sec rest for first 6, 15 sec rest for next 6 and 10 sec rest for last 6 (all :37-:38), 300 kick (4:39)

4:15 pm - get on bike on trainer and watch tv while I spin easy for 1 hour. I didn't think I was sore from riding in the aero position for 4 hours yesterday until I got on my bike again today and everything that hurt yesterday still hurts - my neck included. Ouch. I know I'll adapt with time.

5:30 pm - dinner prepared by O while was I was riding my bike. Gotta love it!

6:30 pm - shower, stretch, massage (with The Stick)

7:30 pm - tv and a snack

8:30 pm - blog

I know, you can't even believe the exciting life of fame and fortune I live! :)
