My Kind of Weather

Halleluia - 70 degrees and sunny!

6:50 am - 2 hour run on the trail; 40 degrees, foggy and chilly but had a good run with me, myself and my iPod

2:20 pm - YMCA for a swim:
3000 yds total
wu: 400 easy, 4x100 w/20 sec rest as 50 stroke/50 free
ms: 500 w/50 sec rest (6:55), 400 w/40 sec rest (5:25), 350 w/30 sec rest (4:40), 3x200 w/20 sec rest (2:39, 2:40, 2:38), 3x100 w/10 sec rest (1:18, 1:18, 1:17)
cd: 100 easy

And yes, in case you are wondering that 350 was really supposed to be a 300 but I can't count.

3:40 pm - 1 hour easy ride outside!

6:25 pm - 20 minute walk to Dairy Queen with O and the pooch and then 20 minutes back home - perfect way to end a very nice day

Week summary:

Monday - off
Tuesday - 1:15 run in am, 2500 yd swim and 1:15 ride in pm, 2x25 pushups/2x100 crunchers
Wednesday - 30 min run and weights in am, 4000 yd swim in pm
Thursday - 50 min run in am, 2 hour ride in pm
Friday - 3000 yd swim and weights in am
Saturday - 3:30 ride/30 min run brick in am, core/feet exercises
Sunday - 2 hour run in am, 3000 yd swim and 1 hour ride in pm

That was a lot this week - about 18 hours, almost 40 miles of running, 12500 yds of swimming and probably about 130 miles of riding. Whew! This upcoming week - speedwork - hooray for that!

So my butt and various other parts hurt after 62 minutes on the trainer (didn't bother me when I was in a 90 minute spin class, I have no idea why) and all I could think was BETH DOES THIS FOR 3 HOURS?
