More Snow
So we are in the midst of getting even more snow. I'm guessing 4 inches already and it's still coming down. I thought it was going to be just an inch. Urghhh. I guess I will be back on my trainer tomorrow morning for my long ride!
This morning I went to the pool despite every cell of my being begging me to sleep in. Oh my was I tired this morning (still am actually). But I got up and went regardless and good thing too because when I went back to the YMCA this afternoon to lift I saw the pool had closed mid-morning due to the pump being broken. Boy would I have been angry with myself for putting off my swim and then not being able to!
Anyway, my swim workout went just fine:
3000 yds total @YMCA
wu: 300 easy, 400 pull, 300 kick
ms: 4x(3x100 w/5 sec rest, 1x50 w/1 min rest) - 1:20, 1:21, 1:20, :39, 1:18, 1:19, 1:19, :39, 1:18, 1:19, 1:19, :39, 1:17, 1:18, 1:18, :38 then 400 pull (6:26)
cd: 200 easy
I think I was half asleep all day at work. I was definitely glad that it was Friday and I have the weekend to sleep a little more! After work, a lifting session and that's it for the day. Tonight? Seeing how long I can lay on the couch without moving. :)
