Title Block

I'm having title block this afternoon. It's a very debilitating disease. I've sat here for quite some time just staring at the computer screen. I think I may have even fallen asleep in the mean time... :)

This morning I went to the pool and swam some 200s.

AM swim workout:
3300 yds total @YMCA (700 yds warmup, 600 yds cooldown)

10x200 on 2:50

It occured to me about halfway through the workout that this set was roughly equivalent to doing 20x100 on 1:25. It was at that point that I got a little scared and decided that maybe I should take a 1 minute break after five 200s. Then I realized that I was absolutely fine to continue the workout as planned with no extra breaks. And I did just that. And I realized how easily you can talk yourself out of something that your body is totally capable of handling. It's a very important point to remember when racing. I have no doubts that my body is stronger than my mind.

Anyway, it was a good workout and I was pleased with it.

Tonight is movie night! Very exciting. I have a little workout planned that involves some zone 3 riding intervals; 1:15 riding total. And it is frigid outside so I'll be glad to be nice and toasty warm inside. :)

Have a great night everyone!
