The Jury is Still Out
So I ran this morning and let me tell you - it felt great! But the jury is still out on my foot. It felt about 90% when I was running and then sort of felt funny off and on throughout the day. All in all it could have been much, much worse, but it also could have felt a little better too. The real test will be to see how it feels tomorrow and how it responds when I try to run again.
O ran with me this morning. It was a pretty nice morning to be out too. Not too cold, calm and clear. We ran 45 minutes total and did some striders on the track. Like I said, my foot didn't hurt, no pain, but I could still feel pressure in the area where it did hurt. Time shall tell!
Other than the run this morning I did a 50 minute plyometric session this afternoon after work and then went to pilates. The plyos were great. It's just so hard to jump up and down - you wouldn't believe it! And pilates was good too. Lots of good core stuff. My lower back has been bothering me some so I'm sure pilates will be good for strengthening those muscles and stretching them out some too.
And that was today. Tomorrow more of the same - swimming, biking and some weights. Have a great night everyone!
