Yeah Friday!
Even though this work week was only 4 days and even though it went incredibly fast, I was really happy that it was Friday and I don't have to return to work for 2 days! Yeah Friday!
This morning I put in some very easy pool time and this evening I put in some equally easy running time.
AM swim workout -
1600 yds at YMCA (800 yds warmup, 500 yds cooldown)
6x50 yds fast on 1:30 (I know - killer stuff! :)
PM run workout -
30 minutes easy, all in zone 1 (which equates to about 8:30 pace I think!)
In other news I got a wetsuit today that has sleeves. My other wetsuit had no arms. All the better for the chilly waters of Lake Erie. Plus I could use all the buoyancy I can get. We are leaving tomorrow morning for the race which is Sunday morning. Very excited! Now - off to pack!

Hope your race went great this weekend!
Just thought you might like to know that my pr in high school for 100yds was a 1:09. I had to work SO HARD for that 1:09. And you're doing 1:12 at the end of a workout?! NO FAIR!
