Standard Thursday

AM swim workout

Short course pool today - 3200 yds total (900 yds warmup, 300 yds cooldown)

4 sets of:
4x25 kick (descending)
2x50 (1st one stroke for distance, 2nd one stroke for distance hard)
4x25 (hard, easy, build, hard)
1x50 easy
1x100 hard
1x50 easy

My 4 100s hard were 1:15, 1:15, 1:14, 1:12
All the 25s were on :30, 50s were on 1:00 and 100s were on 1:30

Whew - that's a lot to remember! :)

The workout went pretty well. I think 1:12 might be a new 100 yd PR. Not too sure but it has to be close! My only problem for the morning was a busted swim cap. When I was trying to put the darn thing on this morning I ripped a piece of it off. This, of course, leads to a loose swim cap at which point I would have just been better to not have a swim cap at all. I made it through but will definitely be purchasing a new one for tomorrow morning's swim. :)

Back to work...and then off to class... Go Steelers!
