I LOVE RIDING MY BIKE
Er...Trizilla's bike that is. The BMC is my best friend. I just love riding it. I just love riding. It was a beautiful day. Life is good. Did I mention I like cycling? I like swimming and running too. Ohhhhhhh...this sport is just too much sometimes. :)
I was going to take the day off today but when it's sunny, about 68 degrees, there's a big blue sky...you just can't deny that. I wanted to be outside and luckily so did coach. So we rode together for an easy 22 miles or so. No hammering. We both ran the 10K yesterday and our quads were sore! My back was really sore too. What's up with that? All the downhill I think.
I'm way excited for my last tri of the season this Saturday. It's near DC so we have quite a drive on Friday but I'm really pumped to race one last time this season. I might go into a dismal depression afterwards once I realize that I can't race again until next May and that soon riding outside is going to get real not fun real fast. But up until that realization occurs I'm on cloud nine. :)
PS Thanks for all the nice comments re: my race yesterday! I really appreciate your encouragement and of course your opinions!
PPS Re: my cold. I'm just going to go ahead and say it - I just don't understand where all that snot could possibly come from. I think I blew my nose so hard my brain came out! (and let me tell you - I need all the brain I have, I can't be losing extra stuff out my nose!). My co-workers are way grossed out. Sorry dudes... :)

can i just mention i hate marathon training. i'm all tired and even before i was injured i stopped biking b/c it was too much!! booo!!!! triathloning is better!!! i concur!!

Triathlons are WAY better. And before I die (or stop writing my blog, which ever occurs first... :) I hope to turn all you "runners" to the true light... :)

Triathalon schlimatharon... Maybe I'm just bitter because my swimming skills rival those of a rock and I don't have a bike, but I think I'll stick with running. :) Where is the race this weekend?
