Yipppeee!
List of good news:
1) I don't work tomorrow - O and I are going up to Penn State (and bringing the pooch too) because I somehow got myself involved in this mentoring program wherein I (who needs much mentoring myself) am a mentor to a nutrition student at Penn State. There is a big dinner kickoff tomorrow night where you meet your mentee in person. Yeah - free GOOD food! :)
2) My headache is finally gone! My head hurt all yesterday (through my 3 hour class too) but at a much lower intensity - kind of just a little achey. This morning I had NO headache though and although I was overcome with a wave of dizziness right after I got out of the shower, I have felt no ill effects of this "sickness" since.
3) "Dem Stillers" are playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday! I'm ready for it to be over to tell you the truth. There is only so much black and gold you can take. :) I work on Sunday but am going to a Super Bowl party at Oscar's house after work. I am really excited for the game and for the fact that I don't work Monday. :)
4) I got a raise today. I only got it because it was my annual review and that's when everyone gets their raise, but it's always nice to make more money no matter what the reason. Trust me - I'm not going out to buy that new Porshe or anything - but I told Roxy she might get a new toy out of the deal.
5) I RAN 40 MINUTES TODAY! This is quite a haul for me. I ran 30 minutes and then took a 5 minute walking break before I did the last 10 minutes. Roxy and O came with me too - one big happy family! We ran on the trail and trialed letting Roxy go off the leash. She was really good, but every once in a while she started to get pretty far ahead before we had to call her back. Anyway, the run felt great - it was 50 degrees and I was able to wear shorts. My feet are still hanging in there - I'm keeping my fingers crossed. After the run I lifted weights at the YMCA.
And that's that! I have some more chores tonight in preparation of leaving tomorrow for Penn State (laundry, groceries, etc..) so I better get moving!

Just for clarification, the big Super Bowl party is at O's parent's place. Big screen and lots of food!
