I am Sick
Not that you didn't already know that from my whining yesterday.
I felt okay at times today but probably overall worse than yesterday. It came and went but it's now at the stage where I can't breathe and I can't hear. Fun. And I'm still not convinced that I didn't catch TB from that patient yesterday... :)
Anyway, I really wanted to run after work today so I went to the trail. It was snowing and blowing but actually not that cold. I ran out for 28 minutes and came back (in around 7:35-7:45 pace) in 27 minutes. Oddly enough my cold didn't bother me much but my stomach was definitely protesting. I felt hungry right before I left so I ate a granola bar (something that wouldn't usually bother me), that I then felt for all 55 minutes of my run. Yuck. The good news is I ate chili for dinner (not an upset-tummy kind of meal) and things were fine.
I usually lift on Mondays but I wasn't sure if I wanted to partake in such a venture when not feeling too well. The YMCA is right on the way on the drive home though so I stopped and then did my full lifting routine just cause. It was probably one step too far because I felt pretty tired, worn out and stuffy again afterwards. Oh well, too late to go back now.
I'm thinking I'm going to go to bed soon. Rest and vitamin C do a body good! :)

Sorry you're sick, but it's great that you were able to run despite this. Rest well and I hope you're better again soon!
