I am Really Sick
Today's "training" entailed the following:
1) 3 hours of extra sleep
2) 2 hours reading in bed
3) 2 hours watching tv while laying on couch
This was all preceded by me getting up at my normal time of 4:45 am, feeding the dog, packing my lunch, taking a shower and stretching some and then realizing in all honestly that I felt like COMPLETE AND UTTER CRAP. My ears hurt, my head hurt, my throat hurt and bad stuff was coming out of my nose. I decided I should call into work and tell them I wasn't coming. And then I crawled back into bed with Roxy and we did some training. :)
I only got out of bed (for the tv watching) because I was hungry for lunch. I tried to talk Roxy into getting it for me but I wasn't confident in her ability to deliver - I trust that she could get into the refrigerator for food, but not so much that she would bring it back uneaten.
The good news is, I'm feeling better now, at least somewhat. I briefly considered driving over to the YMCA for some light ellipticalling but decided against it. If I'm going to take a day off I might as well take a day off and get better. I have to go to work tomorrow because I have class at night in which we are taking our mid-term. So today is my chance to heal. It would appear that today is also my chance to study for said mid-term, but that would require some motivation. Afterall, I think Law and Order is on next...

I am truly impressed that you exercise as much as you do when you have to get up at 4:45am. Hope you feel better soon!
