« Title Block? - Part Two | Main | Time to Get That One for the Thumb »

It's Bronco Busting Time!
I'll admit - I stole that title from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette this morning. :) But the big game is upon us! Watch out Denver!
This morning before church O, Roxy and I went for a run. It was cold - about 22 degrees - which really isn't that bad but also isn't 55 degrees and sunny like the last time I ran. :) We did the following:
5 min walk
15 min jog
3 min walk
15 min jog
about 6 min walk back home
I felt pretty good running although I was actually kind of tuckered out on that 2nd 15 minute running session! My feet are hanging in there. At first, when I started running again at the beginning of the month, I was worried about them. But as time passes I'm starting to feel a little more confident that I will be able to run "enough" (that being a VERY loose term) to complete the 5K portion of the triathlons I want to do. I've had this injury long enough to know that what I'm able to do now may be very different than what I'm able to do in June though...so I'll try not to get too hopeful.
Regardless, I also did my core and feet exercises today. O and I went to church, read the newspaper, ate lunch and are now getting ready to watch the game. I also have a paper to write of which I'm not sure how I'm going to fit it in. I have to get it done today though - it's due Wednesday and I don't usually have the time (or energy) after work to write papers!
Go Steelers!
