Happy Martin Luther King Day!
O and I both have the day off for Martin Luther King Day. What a treat! We slept in until around 8 am and then headed out for the run that I didn't do yesterday.
We did the following:
5 min walk
10 min jog
3 min walk
10 min jog
3 min walk
5 min jog
about 12 min walk back home
Roxy came with us too. It was nice to be out because it was a beautiful, sunny morning but it was also really cold - about 20 degrees with a cold wind. After running on Thursday in 60 degree weather it was a shock to the body to say the least! I kind of felt cold and tight the whole time but I survived. 10 minutes felt like a long time to run. That's pretty lame. :)
After the run we dropped Roxy off and went to the YMCA to lift. I usually sweat like crazy when I lift there but today I was still so cold and actully kept my long sleeve shirt on! I'm nice and warm now though.
Today I seriously need to do some homework. I haven't really done any since my class started. I don't want to get too far behind because you know what that leads too - stress and feeling of being overwhelmed.
Hope everyone has a great holiday and a nice day off (if you get the day off that is...)
