Heart Walk

This morning I, and several of my co-workers, participated in the American Heart Association Heart Walk. It was a 3 mile (5K?) walk to benefit the AHA. It was pretty fun, mostly because we just walked along and talked and then went out to lunch after. :) Not too sure how much the event raised for the AHA, but I'm sure I'll find out tomorrow in the paper. Before I left this morning, I did my core exercises.

I didn't actually get home until around 2 at which point I jumped back into bed for a nap. It's definitely napping kind of weather, dreary and colder and raining. I think I could sleep for a few more hours. But now O and I are off to my father-in-law's birthday party. There is cake to be eaten!

Summary for the week:

Sunday - 45 minutes cross training and weights
Monday - 40 minute run and core exercises
Tuesday - off
Wednesday - off
Thursday - 45 minutes cross training and weights
Friday - 45 minutes cross training and situps/pushups
Saturday - 3 mile Heart Walk and core exercises

Tomorrow - another try at running!
