Snow!

It was only snowing lightly when we woke up today but Matt was already excited. We are northerners at heart (although even I would be tired by now with the amount of snow New England has gotten this winter). Things ended up getting messier and icier as the day went on, but the region apparently got more snow (just a few inches) than has been the case in several years! Contrary to my parents' belief that Washington is "always warm," we've been below normal in terms of snow for about four years if I am remembering the article I read correctly.

But of course I didn't get to go out and enjoy the white fluffy stuff first thing in the morning because I was on the bike. But my Achilles was feeling pretty good, so I can't complain too much. It was another "30 Rock" (one more episode left!) and "ER" day, a study in opposites. Both were enjoyable.

My cold was feeling better today during the day but after a short elliptical workout and some lifting tonight, I got all stuffed up again. Going to bed early would have been a good plan but it is already almost 11. I am not doing well on that front this week and it is only Tuesday...
