Baby, it's cold outside

Another hard-core-runners-only day spent inside on the bike. (looks like tomorrow will be the same way.) I'm sure we dealt with temps like this every week when we lived in Boston, but my Achilles is definitely not up for it these days. Besides, I had "90210" to finish and Season 2 of "30 Rock" to start. My Achilles hurt on and off, probably because I am subconsciously changing my foot position in the pedal to protect it. I have now progressed to the point where my formerly "longer" intervals are the norm, so I guess I am spending more time out of the saddle.

Today was one of those days at work where everything started out quiet and then things went crazy after lunch. I am learning more and more about the intersection of public health and policy because this is the first time in my career that Capitol Hill and the Administration actually care about health and prevention. Pretty neat.

The gym was empty tonight. Maybe people are hibernating. I am waiting in the car for Matt and making a mental list of things I need to do tonight..I am not sure I will get to all of them but I will do my best.
