Jet setting
I still have a couple of "use or lose" days left to take before the end of the year, so today was one of them since I knew we were flying out to L.A. tonight for Matt's company holiday party. Since I no longer had to wake up early to be ready for the plumber to come, I slept in a bit which was really nice. I got on the bike and got about an hour finished and then I had to take a quick break to drive Matt to work (it was pouring). I came right back to the bike when I got home and did another 35 minutes or so. I can't say my Achilles didn't bother me at all, but it wasn't too terrible and only started hurting towards the end of part one of the workout. I watched a fairly gruesome "Dexter" episode and laughed out loud at last week's episode of "The Office" and then watched half of a recent "House." Lots of morning TV.
I probably should have planned my day better so I could have fit in lifting, but I've been doing things around the house, a little work, a couple of errands and it is almost time to go pick Matt up so we can go to the airport. I have a middle seat on the flight out and back so I hope I am not too uncomfortable. But I have a lot of fun things to entertain me so it shouldn't be too bad. Such is life for the jet-setting Wexlers (this is sarcastic)!
