Doing what I have to

Since the only thing I can do comfortably right now is elliptical, that's what I did today and will probably do for the next few days. I wish I could say it was exciting and gave me the same high as running, but as we all know, that's never the case. I only know how to do the elliptical one way--hard (meaning at a fast rate but a relatively low resistance) but I tried to keep it in check today. I was glad to get in any workout, but I have been dreading the next few days of the same workout. And when I was walking/driving around later, I felt like I saw tons of runners. That's how it always is.

I had time for some extra abs at the gym this morning but I did not go back tonight because I went to see "Twilight" with the friend who got me into the Stephenie Meyer series! We had been trying to see it and tonight worked out best. I enjoyed it (although after reading the book I knew exactly what would happen) but was very sleepy after a hectic day at work.

I'm about to go to sleep but will try for one more round of stretching/foam rolling and then icing. I iced several times today in the hopes of healing this thing even a tiny bit quicker. If I could only look forward to biking this weekend rather than just ellipticalling I will be happy!
