Friday at last
Actually, Friday came pretty quickly this week, considering my significant travel on Sunday. That doesn't mean it wasn't tough to get out of bed this morning--I had my usual snooze button issues. It was also a little chilly in the house this morning--so much so that I grabbed a long-sleeve for my run (I knew it would be off within a few minutes, and it was). I headed out to do my AU Park loop and knew from the first few steps that my knee would be bothering me off and on today. It really wasn't too bad and definitely improved when I really, really concentrated on my form, but it was annoying at times. Sigh. When I got back I biked very briefly while watching "The Hills" and called it a day. Another one-workout day in the books.
We had a little office tennis tournament in a local park this afternoon. I never really played tennis even when I didn't have knee problems except occasionally with Matt, but I went to socialize and cheer people on because it was such a nice day out. It was fun being outside and not being hot. After that it was off to my manicure appointment and then Matt and I had dinner at a just-opened branch of a local Lebanese chain restaurant (not really a chain; there are only a few). Now we are both yawning and looking forward to sleeping!
Happy weekend to all!
