Tired in the Twin Cities
I am really surprised that I am still awake. I had trouble falling asleep last night because I didn't feel well (very stuffed up) but somehow managed to wake up and bike for an hour from 4:40am to 5:40am. It was all I could fit in and it is probably for the best for me to have had a light day today anyway. I watched "Swingtown" and then channel-surfed.
My travel to Minneapolis was straightforward, but the plane ride was rather uncomfortable on my ears, probably due to my stuffed sinuses. I was so glad to get off. I met up with my boss for lunch and then we went to the training session we were helping to run, where I promptly got a bad nosebleed. Let's just say I wasn't at the top of my game for this training session. Luckily I did my best to pretend I was feeling just fine.
Tonight was fun; I had the pleasure of having dinner at the home of our friends who live right outside Minneapolis (and occasionally read my blog). It was a nice, relaxed night and it was cool to catch up and hang out.
I am falling asleep as I type--that's definitely my cue.
