Pressing on

I still haven't made up my mind about my blogging break. But there's not much exciting to report today anyway. My knee did feel less sore today, so that's a plus. Even though I stayed up way too late (actually, fell asleep on the couch) watching women's gymnastics, I managed to feel somewhat energetic on the bike this morning. After watching "Tori and Dean," I watched "Today" from Beijing, which was weird. I felt like Meredith and co. were getting confused about whether Michael Phelps had won his 11th gold medal "last night" or "this morning." But as for my knee, things were fine. I did my usual hills and had no problems. It's always a bit stiff when I get off the bike, but I'm used to that by now.

Work went by quickly today, and that was good because I wasn't sure how I would fare after the aforementioned late Olympics night (many of my Gmail and Facebook friends apparently also stayed up past their bedtimes!) I headed to the gym after work but I did not run--I just biked a little more and lifted, then walked home. It has been really nice out so a 30-minute walk is actually pretty enjoyable right now. I'll take it while it lasts!
