Sweaty day
I can't believe it's Saturday night already. Where does the weekend go??
I woke up to the sounds of a swim meet happening at the pool in our neighborhood (we will be on the waiting list for a few years) and the little girl next door asking for her mommy. Who knew living in the 'burbs could be so noisy? But it was time to get up anyway. I went downstairs to the bike where I proceeded to watch way too much mindless reality TV ("Tori and Dean", "Real World", etc.). Both of my knees bothered me somewhat when I got out of the saddle to do hills. It felt almost like patellar tendonitis. I felt better as things loosened up and was able to have a pretty good workout.
Matt's dad is in town this weekend so he came over in the early afternoon and we all took a walk to downtown Bethesda on the Capital Crescent Trail. It was probably in the 90s and significantly humid. I brought a little towel and I definitely needed it. All in all, it was a lot of walking around and I was pooped when we got back several hours later. i crashed on the couch for an hour or so and then perked up to make a quick dinner. We have a couple of Netflix that we've been ignoring so I think we will watch one tonight.
