July is almost over
Wow, I can't believe this is the last weekend in July and it is over already. I had a pretty busy day today but nothing too hectic, so that was good. I started out on the bike, doing my usual workout and watching "Dexter" and then this Olympic preview channel that I recently discovered we had. They basically just play the same features over and over, but they are usually inspiring and good to bike to. I don't think I've seen them all yet--today I saw Michael Phelps, Laura Wilkinson, and Ryan Hall. I think these are the kind of stories that NBC will play throughout their coverage of the Olympics and I am getting excited for 8/8/08 (although we are going to be in New Hampshire away from our HD television until 8/11/08; thank goodness for DVR.)
I spent most of the late morning and early afternoon at a baby shower at a coffee shop and then did a couple of errands. Matt and I took a little walk in between thunderstorms and then I just relaxed around the house until our friends came over for dinner. I made a pretty decent Moroccan couscous salad and lemon chicken. It was a nice end to the weekend.
