Fading fast
Today was definitely one of those days where I got more and more tired as the hours passed, and now I am doing my best to get into bed earlier than possible. My throat is a little sore so I hope I'm not getting a cold. Anyway, my run this morning wasn't bad. I will write in all caps the day I don't have any pain or discomfort in my knee (the blog equivalent to shouting from the rooftops) but for today, it was manageable. Both the temperature and the humidity were much lower today than they've been in weeks--it made for a much more comfortable run for sure. I did a loop back into D.C. and through some of the neighborhoods near American University and then made my way back to the 'burbs. I've been using my new waterproof iPod holder and so far, so good--although it is a little big. It basically doubles or maybe triples the size and weight of the little iPod shuffle. But hopefully that inconvenience will be worth it.
My tiredness/sleepiness set in right after lunch today, so it was a long afternoon. I was even tired at the gym, which is rare for me--I usually snap out of it once I get moving. I biked and lifted and then headed out, glad it is almost the end of the week!
