Temperature change

It was another really hot day today, but things are finally cooling off now (with a dramatic thunderstorm). It was very weird, I felt the temperature change during my ten-minute walk to the gym. Anyway, I woke up feeling tired for some reason, and I had a headache. Advil helped, though. It took a little while for me to get into a good rhythm on the bike, but once I did, I felt a lot more awake. "Weeds" kept me mostly occupied and I was able to do a few longer hill intervals than usual. So it started out sub-par but ended up just fine.

It was a busy day at work and a good day to be inside. I walked out to do an errand around 3 and nearly melted. My mom sent me several emails today complaining about how hot it was in her first grade classroom in NY...I bet!

Today was another run for me on the treadmill. It's very weird to have to run at such a slow pace. I am not breathing heavily at all, but my legs need to adjust gradually to the running motion. I did 3x7 minutes. My major complaint today was my left ("good") knee. It had been bothering me a little since the bike this morning so hopefully I just tweaked something. After the treadmill, I did some lifting and tried to copy some ab moves from these two really tiny but super strong girls I see there often. There were no rodent sightings today but I was certainly on the lookout!
