Short week
In the ideal world, I'd be heading to Boston this weekend not only to watch the Marathon Trials--something that has been on my to-do list since I learned where they'd be--but also to run the "other" marathon on Monday. Alas, I am at least grateful to be mobile enough to be able to walk from the Cambridge side of the course to the Boston side. Passover also begins Saturday night so my family is coming up for the weekend as well to celebrate at my grandparents' as usual. I am looking forward to it and leave early in the morning tomorrow--so early that getting in a workout (with my limitations) is going to be challenging. I'll see what happens. (Matt is already in Boston doing some work-related stuff.)
As for today, I started my day with a lackluster workout at the gym. I actually biked for about 20 minutes, and it was slow, but felt okay. Then I switched to the UBB and I just couldn't get a rhythm going. It was ugly. I tried again this evening at the other gym on the better model and felt tons better (lifting was another story). While I was on the UBB, I saw a couple of teasers for the NBC Nightly News piece about Two Trials and I can't wait to watch it when it is posted online. That is such great publicity for their cause. As a communications person who specializing in non-profit causes, I am very impressed!
