R&R: Day 4

My sedentary life continues. (Although I will say that I've been able to do my sit-ups; I haven't missed a day of those.) Matt had to be at work early and he was my ride, so I was there early too. I can limp around pretty well now, especially once I get into a rhythm. The hardest part is getting up from sitting down--it's still hard to bend my leg. I got a few stares walking from where Matt dropped me off to my building (it wasn't a long walk) and a woman in the bathroom asked me, "What happened?" It's kind of funny how people think it is okay to talk to a stranger if that person is limping and wearing a bandage. Luckily I don't mind and I'm pretty friendly.

I found myself thinking about not being able to exercise today at work, but just being there passed the time. I also walked (slowly) from my office to the hardware store near Matt's office (probably 1/4 mile or a little more) after work, which was a big deal for me! I'm forcing myself to spend a couple of hours icing now though, to further bring down the swelling. I'm trying to be good!

Wow, you're REALLY addicted to exercise, aren't you? I didn't quite realize...
